Proudly serving the San Francisco Area for 60 years
With 60 years in the fire sprinkler industry, ALLIED has grown from a small team into a company of more than 100 skilled professionals. Since our founding, we’ve successfully completed thousands of sprinkler projects across the Bay Area—ranging from small-scale installations to multimillion-dollar developments. Our experience spans a wide variety of structures, including existing hospitals, new high-rises, and large warehouse complexes. Our tenant improvement department is widely recognized as one of the most efficient in the Bay Area. Meanwhile, our 24 Hour service department is fully equipped to handle any emergency, day or night. Our trained personnel also perform all required periodic testing and inspections, including the State of California Fire Marshal's Title 19 “5-Year Test & Inspection.” In addition to testing and repairs, we maintain and service a wide range of fire protection systems for clients throughout the Bay Area and beyond. With our depth of experience and dedicated team, no sprinkler job is beyond our capability.

Safety

OSHA 30 Compliance and Field Safety

Our team prioritizes safety in all aspects of high-rise fire sprinkler installation. Leveraging OSHA 30-hour training principles, we establish a structured approach to hazard recognition, mitigation, and compliance with federal and state regulations. This ensures our personnel are equipped to identify risks, implement safety protocols, and maintain a culture of safety throughout the project. Key areas of focus include fall protection, scaffolding safety, electrical hazards, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, and emergency response procedures.

    C16 Fire Sprinkler Hazards

Fire sprinkler installation in high-rise construction presents unique risks, particularly during hoisting operations. Our personnel are trained to manage:

    • Fall hazards: Work on elevated platforms, scaffolds, and ladders, employing proper fall protection systems, including harnesses and lifelines.
    • Hoisting and rigging hazards: Safe coordination of cranes and rigging, load securing, signaling, and inspection of hoisting equipment to prevent dropped or swinging materials.
    • Electrical hazards: Coordination with building systems to avoid contact with energized components.
    • Confined space and ergonomic challenges: Safe handling of pipe, fittings, and tools in shafts, chases, and restricted areas.

    Implementation of Safety Practices

    Our field safety program includes:

    • Pre-task hazard assessments and site-specific safety plans.
    • Toolbox talks and ongoing OSHA 30-based training for all personnel.
    • Supervised hoisting operations with controlled zones and certified rigging practices.
    • Use of PPE, including hard hats, gloves, eye protection, and high-visibility clothing.
    • Regular safety audits and incident reporting to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and California building codes.

By integrating OSHA 30 principles with project-specific hazard management, our team ensures safe, efficient, and compliant fire sprinkler installation. This proactive approach reduces risk, protects personnel, and contributes to timely, high-quality project completion.
